Jacoby Dicranian is a 2027 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Bennington, VT who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Dicranian works from a medium lean build with plenty of projection remaining as a '27 prospect. He can be considered a Swiss army knife defensively working from a variety of spots, starting from the IF where he displayed a wide fielding base with reliable glove work and max effort throws across the diamond up to 75 mph. He was able to top out at 78 mph from the OF flashing clean transfers and a quick in-line arm path that produced throws around the bag. On the mound, Dicranian worked from the stretch showcasing a simple balanced operation with a slight leg coil at the top of the lift. He again topped out at 75 mph from a compact 3/4 slot with developing spin in the arsenal. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from an open stance with tight hands and a high back elbow, generating line drive impact gap to gap when on time. He flashed hand speed through the zone, posting an exit velo of 74 mph. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
