Nathan Woodside is a 2024 C/2B, 3B with a 5-6 158 lb. frame from Woodinville, WA who attends Woodinville. Ran a 7.23 second sixty. Primary catcher with a smaller lean build. Sits in a side straddle stance gaining ground quickly and getting the ball to the throwing hand at the mid line and showing a compact arm action with accurate throws recoding a 1.96 second sixty. Waits back on the ball on the infield receiving it with firm hands and late glove presentation. Ranged well in both directions and made accurate throws with average arm strength. Left-handed hitter, starts with an even base showing some loft to the swing path while showcasing pop to the pull side. Has good intent to the swing and recorded a 84 mph exit velocity. Very good student. Named to the 2022 National Underclass West Showcase Top Prospect List.
