Scott Fritz is a 2028 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Hawthorne, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Tall athletic build. Primary first baseman. Fields in rhythm at the spot with clean loose arm action that fed both bases with zip and accuracy. In the outfield, he works with athleticism and intent through the fielding point, secured each ball cleanly. Smooth arm action with advanced carry and accuracy to both bases. Left-handed hitter, sets up with moderate base and preloaded hands. Functional swing with simplistic actons to impact. He displays early signs of backspin gap power. Lived on the barrel through both gaps. Usable loft in the swing with tangible intent. On the mound, he lifts to waist height, clean arm action to a standard three-quarters slot. Some whip present in the operation. In line worker that loaded up the zone. Curveball shows quality depth and 1-7 action. Repeats well and dotted the arm side corner quite a few times. High ceiling type that should be monitored. 7.41 60-yard. Named to the 2023 13u Select Festival.
