Flynn Scoggin is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Downers Grove, IL who attends Downers Grove South. Medium frame with young, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.30 seconds. Graded out best on the mound, efficient arm path to 3/4 slot release, fastball worked 65-68 mph with good control of the pitch, showed curveball with 12/6 shape and eventual depth, flashed changeup as well, did a nice job of repeating delivery. Hits from semi-crouched and even-based stance, pushes hands into swing and creates lengthy path on flat plane, middle field approach, exit velocity recorded at 65 mph. Primary catcher, high side-saddle set, runs through reception, lengthy footwork through to release, clocked up to 65 mph on throws with developing arm speed. Also took infield reps, clocked up to 68 mph across the diamond on throws. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
