Dominic Dave is a 2025 RHP/2B, 3B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Portola. Features a longer, lean frame with plenty of room to add. Methodical delivery with lift to core height. Easy movements down the mound with moderate to low effort drive. Fastball plays fairly true. Attacking the zone with it early on, working both side. Landed a depth-y breaking ball to both sides of the dish, very effective breaking back to the gloveside corner. Body really projects with some level of polish and pitch-abilty to an arsenal that will obviously come around as he adds. On the infield the moved well laterally with a solid transfer and a quick, accurate arm. At the plate he has a medium base and takes a short stride to contact. He has a short, compact, direct path and barreled line drives to all-fields. He is a very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
