2023 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Ty O'Brien is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Bowling Green, OH who attends Otsego. Thick bodied build. Behind the dish, he works with sound footwork and proper glove technique. The exchange is quick into strong throws to the bag. At the plate, tall narrow start works into a striding load. The barrel wraps on the load and whips hard when fired, The impact is loud to the pull side gap which he backspun with frequency. Very strong physically. Round got better as it progressed. 7.50 60-yard. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
