Eric Branch is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Elkin, NC who attends Surry Central. Long and lean build with plenty of room and time to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a very open stance with an on time shift to square, gets the barrel out front well, has some young bat speed and good barrel accuracy, took good swings in the game with hard line drive contact to all fields, projects well as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. 8.39 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, throws from a lower arm slot with some raw arm strength, gets rid of the ball quickly, still developing his lower half strength, flexibility and quickness.
