Joshua Lopez is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Bishop Miege. He has a good frame with a lean build and plenty of room to add strength as he continues to develop. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.82 seconds. Primary catcher that starts with an open stance and does a nice job of gaining ground towards second base on his throws. He transfers the ball cleanly and quickly before throwing with a short arm action. He throws the ball uphill and showed nice accuracy to second. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He has a knee to belt leg lift and sits into his backside well before working down the mound and in line with the plate. He throws with a shorter arm action and fires from a high 3/4 arm slot. He primarily worked his fastball away from hitters and showed a sharp 12-6 curveball. Right-handed hitter that starts in a narrow and even base with an upright stance and high hands and a high back elbow. He starts with his weight back and has an aggressive stride forward to start his swing. He has a shorter path to the ball and looks to make line drive contact. He has the ability to use the whole field and makes loud contact, swinging a heavy barrel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
