Maverick Labbe is a 2028 SS/RHP/C with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Jupiter. Medium, high waisted frame with a slender frame and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with active, quick feet and a clean funnel out in-front. Displayed good lateral range to either side and recorded arm strength up to 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked a simple, repeatable full windup delivery with deliberate pace to it. Incorporates belt high leg lift into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the duration of his outing, repeating well from a high three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in slower, big breaking curveball for strikes with gradual depth and some downer bite to it. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and minor refinements mechanically. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed high energy and aggressive actions into the fielding process. Worked through the baseball with intent, used a crow-hop to gain momentum into release and recorded arm strength up to 72 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a bent-knee, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and big leg lift trigger for timing. Contact oriented stroke with elongated swing path and developing feel for the barrel. Whole field approach with occasional line drives from gap-to-gap, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
