2022 Puerto Rico Workout Showcase
Kalier D. Castro García is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Leaner build with present size and strength to both halves and athletic traits. Ran a 6.54 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, charges well and stays grounded in approach. Good direction and accurate throws that came out crisp on a line from a longer arm slot. Shows the pocket early and shows confident actions. Right-handed hitter, crouched and compact stance with a narrow base. Fires hips and hands with present bat speed. Gets extended and shows solid strength at impact to both gaps. Found consistent contact in his round with lots of components to work with at the plate. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
