Tyler Ball is a 2026 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Griffin, GA who attends Spalding. Ran a 8.19 second sixty. Primary first baseman with a larger build. Showed some feel for the footwork on the double play feeds with proper footwork getting himself in a good position to make an accurate throw after funneling the baseball into the mid line with soft hands. Starts square on the mound with a side step into a belt high leg lift. The arm action stays shorter through the back as he stays on line to the plate throughout the delivery. The fastball sat 67-72 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot generating some arm side run when he is out front with extension finding some success on the glove side. Right-hadned hitter, starts with a wider base using a stride to trigger the swing with a deep hadn't load creating separation. the path can get long at times but some show impact to the pull side the the barrel is out front on time with a whit shift into contact. Found the barrel in game action with multiple hits. Good student. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Summer Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
