Michael Diorio is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Manhasset, NY who attends Manhasset Secondary. Recorded a 7.18 second 60-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher with a medium frame and athletic build. Abbreviated wind-up delivery with drop and drive mechanics down the slope. Sinks into the lower half with short-arm action from a high 3/4 arm slot. Some arm side run on the fastball up to 78 mph (2105 RPM) and a sweeping slider in the 64-68 mph range (2030 RPM). Repeats his delivery fairly well with fastball at the bottom of the zone and slider control glove side to both right-handed and left-handed hitters. Secondary outfielder cutting the distance with aggressive approach to gather. Defensive actions in the outfield could be more under control to increase his consistency on throws to the bases at 75 mph. Better body control of his movements on the mound with more velocity and control of his release point. Left-handed hitter with an even base and high-hands stance in the box. Quiet hands with a short direct stride and lofted barrel path through the zone. Has strength in frame and found multiple barrels in game action with greatest impact to the pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
