Devin Garvey is a 2024 MIF/3B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Jackson, NJ who attends Jackson Memorial. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows active footwork on the approach to the ball, deeper funnel into release, shows some present arm strength with accuracy across the diamond, balanced actions with range going up the middle, will continue to refine moving forward. Right-handed hitter, being with an open stance and a high hand set at the plate; rotational swing and employs an all fields approach. Occasionally gets late with front foto but does a nice job of remaining compact through the zone with flashes of lift out front. Shows some feel for the barrel and works on a mostly linear path with best contact to the middle of the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
