Ryken Redondo is a 2025 RHP/C, 1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from San Ramon, CA who attends California. Features a tall, slender build some strength present. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics. A slight crossfire landing creates some deception. Throws out of a low 3/4 arm slot. Low effort within allows for the delivery to be repeated well. The fastball sat 75-78 mph. Lower arm slot creates plenty of armside run. Throws the offering for strikes often. Paired with quality changeup at 68-71 mph. Armspeed deception and fading action make it a solid second offering. Also showed a curveball at 65-67 mph with slurve action. Flashed the ability to create movement. Still developing bite on the offering. Also worked out as a catcher. Uses a side saddle setup with a wide base. Was on target with throws often. Still developing footwork and explosiveness out of crouch. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wide base with a high back elbow. Moderate leg kick shifts weight to the backside well. Getting the foot down on time is key. Swings on a linear path with the ability to use the opposite field often. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
