Dylan Hobert is a 2027 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Glendale, AZ who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Medium, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.10 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, shows some body control in actions with shorter steps moving towards the ball, longer arm action through the backside, arm strength will continue to develop; fields the ball to side in the outfield, works into a crow hop at release, shows accuracy on throws to intended base. Also pitched, repeats delivery well on the bump, showed a similar long and fluid arm action working to a high three-quarters release point. Worked around the zone and pitched to contact ,fastball topped out at 66 mph; flashed a curveball at 59 mph with developing shape. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance in the box, hands stay tight and utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Keeps hands inside the ball, can implement additional lower half into swing, best when working on a linear path, occasionally gets uphill, shows comfort working to the pull side. Excellent student.
