Alexander Denny is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. Features a tall, lean build with plenty of room to add. Utilizes a leg lift above the belt into a short stride down the mound. Displays a loose arm action into a low 3/4 slot. Creates deception out of the hand. Fastball worked up to 78 mph. Frame projects well for additional velocity. Still developing consistent command of the offering. Paired the heater with both a low-60’s curveball with slurve action and upper-60’s changeup. Both offerings will only continue to get better. Worked out in the outfield and at first base. Can make the routine play on the dirt. Range profiles well for the position. Arm plays well into feeds when accurate. Fields the ball out front in the outfield. Still developing consistent momentum through the catchpoint. Would allow for a clean release. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes a wider stance with an event base. Swings with intent on a longer path. Should find the barrel more consistently as body control is developed.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
