Kal Hampton is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton. Good size for age with present strength to both halves and more in the body. Ran a 8.20 in the 60-yard dash. Catcher from side saddle setup. Showed good athleticism and replaces feel well with a quicker transfer into stronger, on-line throws that stood out in round. Also showed a strong arm across in his infield drills, funnels well from a clean backhand and lets the arm work through the motion. Right-handed pitcher, high three-quarter slot with a good stride down the mound. Some drop-and-dive to delivery, fastball reached low-70s with feel for a depthy breaking ball with promising shape. Right-handed hitter, upright and narrow base with medium hand set. Shows present bat speed with strong hands off impact and whip to the finish. Stood out in his round with ability to impact the ball well to all fields. Named to Top Prospect list.
