Alonzo Castro is a 2028 OF/1B with a 5-7 180 lb. frame from Lauderhill, FL. Recorded an 8.70 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder and moved to the ball with intent. Used a methodical gather and a longer arm swing, releasing from an over-the-top slot. Secondary first baseman and fielded it with two hands out front. Worked into clean funnel and was accurate with throws. Switch-hitter and turned the barrel over well from the left side, finding the barrel often. High back elbow from the left side and works to leverage the barrel, using a hands driven stroke.
