Angel Perez is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-8 110 lb. frame from Lajas, PR who attends Albergue Olimpico Baseball Academy. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium build and high-waist slender frame. Hands set just above belt from stretch only starting point. Short and quick leg lift with smaller arm swing behind. Higher slot arm action with a lower release point getting down the slope. Fastball up to 70 mph and curveball in low-60s. Secondary outfielder that works through the ball with a clean gather and accurate throws at 75 mph. Recorded a 7.76 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed hitter with an even base and contact approach in the box. Works through the middle of the field with an on-time operation. Outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA.
