Jacob Brown is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Newfields, NH who attends Exeter. Medium athletic build. Works from a full wind up with a low hand start, gets a good gather over the rubber and works down the mound well, compact 3/4's arm slot. Topped out at 83 mph on his fastball, mostly straight with some occasional arm side life. Breaking ball was a short slider with some 10-4 tilt. Still developing consistency on his fastball command but has some arm strength to continue to develop. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a flat line drive swing, has some strength in his hands, best when he's getting his back side through and not just relying on his hands.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
