Brody Lara is a 2027 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-8 132 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Shadow Ridge. Features a medium build with some athleticism present. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and in the outfield. Caught the ball cleanly in the outfield. Still developing footwork through the catchpoint. Showcased solid hands on the dirt. Moved well to the gloveside. More arm strength should come as the frame adds strength. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a simple load. Flashed some quickness to the hands. Swings on a linear path with an approach geared to the pullside. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws out of a 3/4 lot using a long arm action. The fastball sat 62-68 mph with slight armside run. Paired it with a curveball at 51-54 mph with slurve action. Velocity difference generated occasional whiffs. Still developing command of both offerings.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
