2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Dane Jorgensen is a 2025 2B/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from New Egypt, NJ who attends Jackson Memorial. Small, athletic looking frame with slender build and plenty of time to physically mature. Recorded a 5.03 second forty-yard dash. Primary infielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Works downhill through the baseball, funnels cleanly out in-front and displayed plenty of lateral range to either side. Showed ability to throw from multiple arm angles across the diamond. Recorded accurate throws up to 74 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even base with tight hand set, low back elbow and small forward stride into launch. Simple, compact stroke with good bat-to-ball skills and some feel for the barrel. Consistently repeats his swing effectively and will continue to expand his power potential with additional physical strength. Fundamentally sound prospect with sound defensive acumen and offensive upside. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
