Griffin Wilczewski is a 2023 MIF/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Western Springs, IL who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. He has a tall frame with a slender build and projects well and has plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Primary middle infielder that has athletic movements that he pairs with good hands a solid feel for the glove. He does a nice job of transferring the ball into his throwing hand and showed good arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing that he pairs with longer swing through the zone. He has a rotational swing and showed promising bat speed. His hands are strong, as he is able to lift the ball into the gaps. Excellent student.
