Josmer Aponte is a 2022 OF/MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Aibonito, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. 7.05 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, attacks the ball well and maintains his balance and direction well, quick release on his throws, throws have some carry and are accurate, showed his athleticism well defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a high hand load, downhill swing plane and would benefit from loading his hands lower. stays short to the ball and has good barrel feel, hits to all fields. Good student.
