Jordan Oberg is a 2023 RHP/2B, 3B, IF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Sheffield Lake, OH who attends St Edward. Recorded a 7.85 second sixty yard dash time. medium frame with a lean and athletic build, good physical projection moving forward. Primary right-handed pitcher with a mechanically sound operation, the delivery is very clean and easy. Stays in line well and shows drop and drive lower half mechanics. Utilizes a short and in line arm action with slight plunge in the back, comes from a high and tight release. Fastball has some run to it, filled up the zone and was able to throw it to both sides of the plate. Used primarily fastballs, flashed a couple of curveball, is still developing feel and command for the pitch. The operation and frame project well, the key for him moving forward will be a further velocity increase and the development of a consistent off speed pitch. Secondary infielder with developing footwork and glove work, has limited range with a long release. Right-handed hitter with an even base and tall stance, switched back and forth between a big leg lift trigger and a toe tap trigger. Long swing path with developing bat speed and strength within the swing at present. Will improve as he finds a consistent timing mechanism and becomes comfortable with it. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
