Dasaan Lee is a 2024 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, IF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Monee, IL who attends De La Salle Institute. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty yard dash time. Bigger frame and bigger build. Primary catcher quick out of the crouch, jumps with the feet accurate to second in the air. Good quick arm stroke with clean feeds, has a clue. Quick operation throwing out a runner in game action. Also worked out in the infield with raw infield actions. Worked hard to get in good fielding positions with good arm strength. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-hander works from a chest-high leg kick with a shorter arm action that brings the arm through cleanly with some arm speed and whip with an over-the-top release. The fastball (1970 RPM) was mid-to-upper 70s with some arm side life. Also showed two secondaries with a change-up (1493 RPM) that had arm side dive and killed spin and velocity on effectively and a curveball (1944 RPM) with 12-6 shape. Threw two curveballs in the outing and got two swing and misses on the pitch. Idea on how to attack breaking.a bat and mixing in on the hands and away in the zone. Could also locate the fastball effectively up in the zone. The change-up works well on the inner half of the plate to get weaker contact and jam hitters. Mowed down hitters with the fastball change-up combo. Threw just enough outside pitches to be effective attacking the inner half of the plate. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base with an upright stance, weight starts on the back foot, high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift stride. Good whip to the hands with a short path that was able to work uphill. On time consistently with a quick barrel and juice to center field and the left-center field gap. Can lift the ball and was able to create some backspin for a solid round. Collected two barrels in game action on Saturday with both coming to the pull-side. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Great student. Named to the Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
