Ryan Brennecke is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-2 189 lb. frame from Oconomowoc, WI who attends Oconomowoc. Large frame with long, lean build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.50 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, smooth and easy mechanics with a small side step into windup, good extension and line to the plate, attacks the zone with fastball working 85-87 mph, filled up the zone with the pitch, tight-breaking curveball with 1/7-2/8 shape and good bite, flashed changeup with fade and arm speed, high-upside young arm. Hits from slightly open stance, little rocker back in hips to load, stationary on back leg through swing, point of contact very deep in the zone, strength over bat speed at present, shows some power to pull-side. Very good student, named to 2023 North Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
