Brayden Yasuzawa is a 2024 C/MIF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Centennial, CO who attends Cherry Creek. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to add more as he gets older. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Primary catcher, worked from a side saddle set up with a quick transfer gaining ground on throws down to second base. Clocked a 2.19 pop time. Had a tendency to rush and gets out of sink, when he learns to slow himself down and control his body he will excel behind the dish. At the plate hits from the right side, with an even base and a small leg kick. Displayed a soft level swing with a downward hand path generating a lot of ground balls up the middle. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
