Delency Baker is a 2006 left handed pitcher/outfielder from Berkeley, California with a medium build that shows strength at 5 ft. 10 185 pounds. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with a full wind-up and a quick delivery. He has a compact arm action and is a bit inconsistent with his release point. His fastball topped out at 77 mph and showed good life. He throws a cutter with decent action at 70-73 mph. His 64 mph slurve has a nice sweeping break and is an effective out pitch. He also has a change-up at 68 mph. He hits from a narrow upright stance. He has a short compact swing and generates good bat speed. He hit very well during the games spraying hard line drives to all fields. He will be a good follow in 2006 as he matures.
