Ajay Garcia is a 2023 C/ with a 5-10 240 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Monsignor Scanlan. Medium frame with a filled out, stocky type build. Ran a 8.31 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in stance as he receives the baseball out front. Doesn't gain much ground on transfer as he released from the ear. Accurate with throws around the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.19 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced and in line to start. Toe tap trigger to stride as weight stays on backside. Short, linear swing as he proved he could drive it deep when he timed it up properly. Will find more consistency with a simplification of the swing. Projects some power down the road.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
