Chase Kessler is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Vista Ridge. He has a good frame with a slender build and room to add more strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.29 seconds. Primary first baseman that sits back on the ball and fields it deep. He funnels it well and showed good footwork when making his throws. He has a longer arm action and made high effort throws. Right-handed hitter that starts in a narrow base that is open and an upright stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He has a rotational swing that is slightly uphill. His swing is longer and he showed nice quickness in his hands. He looks to leverage the ball and has an opposite field approach, letting the ball get deep into the hitting zone. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
