Charles Bowman is a 2022 C/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from London, ON who attends Wilbraham And Monson Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set behind the plate, gains short ground coming out of crouch, quick transfer out of glove into a tight slot, low and accurate throws to the bag, arm strength will continue to develop. Similar compact arm action from the outfield, comes to the ball well with longer strides, fields the ball out front, shows carry when working on top of throws to the intended base, remains taller at release. Left-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high back elbow at the plate, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Keeps hands inside the ball, longer swing path through the zone, best contact when getting the barrel out front , shows comfort working to pull side but can go to all fields and flashes lift, contact oriented approach at the plate. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
