Darrell Pender is a 2023 OF/SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Northwestern. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball cleanly with 2 hands out front, big jump into a crow hop, can quicken and clean up his footwork into his throws, short arm action, gets on top of his throws well to create some on line carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a simple load and trigger, has quick hands and a short and direct swing, develops bat speed and some line drive jump off the barrel, flashes some pop to the pull side. Good student.
