Cameron Costello is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Olympia, WA who attends Olympia. He ran a 8.01 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a young athletic build. In the outfielder he showed good actions working to the ball , receiving the ball with confidence in the glove as he transfers into a long fluid arm action with projectable arm strength. On the mound he starts with a side step and pause before a belt high leg lift as the arm works long a free through the back to a high three-quarters arm slot with the fastball sitting 71-75 mph locating to both sides of the plate, he also mixed in a low 60's breaking ball with 1-7 shape and mostly late depth at its best, the changeup showed as the third offering with good arm speed and a straight change of pace offering. Left-handed hitter, starts slightly open using a bigger leg kick to get back to even as the hands load deep creating good separation. He is able to clear the hips early to get the back head out front using his rotational drive to impact the ball best to the pull side. Good student.
