Khamaree Thomas is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Kenwood Academy. Recorded a 6.75 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing great speed. Medium frame with lean and athletic build, plenty of room to fill and physical development remaining. Primary outfielder with good twitch to his actions, is quick to the ball and shows a clean gather/glove. Has some whip to the arm, gets his best carry when he pulls down on the throw. Can show more urgency to the actions, has the tools to really improve moving forward. Secondary left-handed pitcher, utilizes a short arm action with stab in the back. Throws with good intent and comes across his body some. Short and effective inning, filled up the zone and flashed a short curveball with vertical action. Left-handed hitter with a wide base and open stance, moves in well and has some quickness in the hands. Loads back big to start the swing but gets out of it well, unloading the hips and driving them forward. Showed an all fields approach with a short in direct path. Developing strength/physicality at present, good-looking swing overall that projects as he gets stronger. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
