James Wharry is a 2026 2B/RHP, SS, MIF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Yukon, OK who attends Mustang. Taller, lengthy frame. Changes arm angles on the mound, short stride down the mound, developing mechanics to get more in sync. Fastball and curve on the mound, developing feel for both, should throw more strikes over time. Charges the ball in the outfield, gets a little out of control at times, developing arm strength. Quick feet in the infield, lots of movement, developing actions, makes the plays, some arm strength. Hits from a straight lined wide base, stiff, limited use of the lower half, drops hands, timing issues, developing swing path and bat speed.
