Peter Caldera is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Roseville, CA who attends Granite Bay. Long and lean frame with solid athleticism and physical projection. Ran a 6.80 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, works to the ball well with solid footwork, funnels clean and produces strong one-hop accurate throws clocked up to 83 mph. Also pitches, longer arm action with a clean release, lower effort down the mound and repeats well, up to 85 mph with the fastball with solid arm side run, gets to the bottom of the zone well and filled it up, also showed feel for big sweeping slider that he throws with intent. Righthanded hitter, even base and relaxed setup, moves in well, short and stiff swing with some barrel whip, compact through zone and cuts it off some but has the strength to create solid impact and shows solid feel for the barrel. Named to 2022 Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
