Brendan Horne is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Hooksett, NH who attends Pinkerton Academy. Clocked a 7.01-second 60-yard dash time. Young, athletic build with tons of room remaining to be filled. Primary shortstop, quick feet with athletic actions. Showed some range going up the middle. Throws across the diamond up to 78 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, varied his tempo with slight hesitation during leg lift. Quick arm from a high 3/4 arm slot, inconsistent at times with his release point. Curveball showed 11-5 shaped break as he is continuing to develop feel to land the pitch for strikes. Up to 76 mph with his fastball as he sat in the mid-70's. Right-handed hitter, narrow, slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Toe-tap trigger with a rotational lower half, getting stuck on his backside at times. Line drive swing plane that worked to the pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
