Brighton Fontaine is a 2026 SS/2B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from North Wales, PA who attends La Salle College. Athletic, long levered frame with tons of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 7.48 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with a coiled leg lift and good lower movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the 83-86 mph range for the majority of his outing and topped out at 88 mph from a higher three-quarters slot. Generates downhill plane to the fastball at times and gets some ride through the strike zone. Mixed in a short, tight slider with legitimate swing-and-miss traits when in-sync and flashed a faded changeup with mimicked arm speed. Command wavered at times due to some mechanical adjustments that are need, but has immense upside and more velocity in the tank. Secondary middle-infielder with a quick first step, some lateral range and above average arm strength across the diamond. Moved deliberately throughout the fielding process, showed a clean funnel out in-front and moves well towards his target into release. Recorded arm strength up to 87 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Rotational lower half mechanics with some compact hands speed and developing feel for the barrel. Line drive stroke that gets downhill at times with best impact coming through the middle-of-the field. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Vastly projectable frame with huge upside on the mound. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
