Blake Ragsdale is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Burr Ridge, IL who attends Lyons Twp. Lean young athletic build. 7.37 runner in the sixty, speed plays up in the games. Primary middle infielder on defense, is light on his feet and is a very fluid mover, good routes through the ball, quick hands at the ball, makes accurate throws with very good arm strength for his age. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a still load, sudden swing with quick hands, explodes them hard at the ball, makes solid contact with some jump when he's timed up and catches the ball out front, solid game barrels. Took a turn on the mound, has a rotational delivery with a big shoulder turn over the rubber, tight mid 3/4's arm slot. Got nice running action on a low 80's fastball. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian. Very young for the 2027 class, named to play in the Perfect Game 13U Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
