Ethan Bauerschmidt is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Pleasant Prairie, WI who attends Tremper. Long and lean broad shouldered build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good balance moving through the ball, hands are quick and sure, has a short and quick arm takeaway and lowers his slot well, makes accurate throws with good carry, solid all around defender. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big lift and replace hanging leg load that locks up his lower half, upper body swing, slashing downhill swing path, flashed some back spin and carry to the middle of the field when he was extended. Also pitched, works from a full delivery with a long arm action in back. Fastball worked up to 88 mph with nice riding life, has been up to 90 mph at PG events before. Curveball was a very good pitch with hard spin and power bite. Has mound talent to develop as a potential two-way prospect. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
