LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Brendan Gardner is a 2024 2B/SS with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Pacific Palisades, CA who attends Pomfret. Brendan has an average build and a thinner frame. Brendan shows good hands and a good glove low to the ground while taking infield. Clean arm with signs of good strength made accurate throws from all positions. Gardner, a switch hitter has an even base at the plate from both sides. Getting into his load with a hanging leg lift, he transitions into his swing from his back side with some bat speed. Slightly uphill swing from right side. From the left he has a bit longer swing, but shows some bat speed here. Good potential to be dangerous from both sides with continued development and instruction. Brendan is a very good student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
