Broder Katke is a 2027 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Bloomfield Hills, MI who attends Detroit Country Day Upper. Large, athletic frame with present strength and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, deliberate pace to actions with efficiency, on line footwork out of crouch, shows accuracy on throws with a shorter path through the back. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open and spread stance and a high hand set. Full swing path through the zone with present bat speed and strength, found some solid barrels in live action. Gets extended out front with stretch in swing, mostly pull side contact on a line and the power projects moving forward. Named to the Pitt Indoor Top Prospect List.
