Sammy Kane is a 2026 MIF/RHP, C, SS, OF, UT with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Carmichael, CA. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a leaner build, some present strength with additional room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.12 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well to the ball and shows off smooth actions with footwork, hands are soft and play well to the backhand, can quicken release but shows arm strength and carry on throws across the diamond, nice actions to build upon. On the mound begins with a turned start, quick side step into a leg lift up past belt, slight tilt at top while showing a loose arm action and some whip through the back working to a lower three-quarters release point. Shorter stride down the mound, generates sinking life on fastball, up to 82 mph and can get in on the hands, filled the zone in a quick inning look and spun a slight slider up to 69 mph with life. Lower set behind the plate at start, deep transfer into a lower slot on throws down to second base, can continue to implement lower half into actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Handsy swing, stays short to the ball and works on a linear plane through the zone. Comfort working to the middle of the field, line drive contact off the barrel, occasionally mistimed with front foot but mostly shifts well through contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
