Scott Doran is a 2023 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Flourtown, PA who attends William Penn Charter School. Extra-large frame with present strength in the frame and maturity to the build. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Methodical delivery with a rocker step into a leg lift above the belt. Long, online arm swing with an over the top arm slot at release. Head tilted at release and falls off the mound toward first base. Fastball topped out at 89 mph and could locate the fastball to both halves. Showed both a changeup and a curveball with inconsistent ability to land the pitches. Large bodied build and projects for higher velocity as well. Good student.
