Parker Jones is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Leesville Road. Long lean build with your prototypical pitchers body, lots to anticipate with maturity. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Primary position RHP working exclusively from the stretch, employing a chest high leg lift as he transitions to the plate. Showed quick arm action and good arm strength as he topped out at 82 mph displaying good arm side run. Used a breaking ball with 11/5 action that was a quality secondary offering, inducing swing and miss with regularity. With physical development and getting into his lower half a bit more, it is easy to see a continual upward trend in stuff on the mound. Secondary position OF, worked methodically to the ball and when synched up showed well on his throws, especially to home plate. Right handed hitter with active hands, a bit of a bat wrap and using a closed stance. Keeps hands close to body on approach to contact and when on time showed nice hand strength. There was occasional length to the swing due to bat wrap on trigger but with refinement the hit tool is present. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
