Jack Olson is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Antioch, IL who attends Antioch. Tall and lean athletic build with good present strength in his lower half. Primary right handed pitcher, works from a full wind up with a short stride out front, high 3/4's arm slot with good downhill angle on his fastball, athletic delivery that he repeats well. Worked in the low 80's with his fastball, topping out at 82 mph with good arm side running life, threw strikes with his fastball and worked ahead in counts. Tended to slow his arm on his curveball but had a good release with it and proper spin shape. Stood out as a hitter and is a two-way prospect. Left handed hitter, has an aggressive hitting approach and was very confident attacking the ball, has present bat speed and loud barrel contact, was on time with hard pull side contact from a spread stance. 7.39 runner in the sixty. Showed his arm strength well from the outfield in drills, footwork was solid through the ball. Interesting young player with lots of tools to develop. Excellent student. Named to the North Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
