Kaito Muto is a 2023 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Bowling Green, KY who attends Foundation Christian Academy. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.24 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, working quickly into the baseball showing lateral range. Scooped it up with confidence out front before working into transfer. Took a few extra steps for extra velocity before releasing. Proved to be accurate from multiple slots as he threw it 87 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a belt high lift. Long, quick arm action before releasing from a three-quarter slot. Works downhill as he pounded the lower half of the zone with the fastball. Topped out at 83 mph. Also mixed in a sharp spinning breaking ball in the low-70's. Will be an out pitch once he finds more command of it. Secondary Outfielder, working with urgency into the baseball as he gathers to the side and brings all momentum into release. Uphill release and letting it go as he threw it 91 mph. Fundamentally sound with big arm strength present. Switch Hitter, from the right-side, narrow and upright stance before working into a high leg lift. Hands get high into separation before working into a fluid, linear cut. Proved to have some pop to the pull-side when timed up properly. From the left-side, similar set up and stance as he strides out. Doesn't create as much separation as he works into a handsy swing. Proved he could find the barrel but not near as loud as it was from the right-side. Outstanding Student. Named to Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
