Jordin Griffin is a 2027 OF/3B with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Alfred M. Barbe. A compact frame with plenty of athleticism present. Ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who was real twitchy during his round, light on his feet, moving well throughout the round. Had good footwork working through the fielding actions, funneling well into throws that came out at 84 mph. Showed off a real good round of throws from the outfielder overall. Also worked out as an infielder with good throws across up to 79 mph, accurate to first base. Took good angles to the ball and showed off a good backhand as well. Has a clue for the actions with good footwork and the ability to adjust the arm slot across. A left-handed hitter with slightly open feet and high-set hands, with the back elbow up. He was able to turn the front hip and swing extremely hard through the zone. Good bat speed showing with good intent that was present during his round of swings. Produced an 87 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing as well. Picked up a couple of hits in-game as well. Great student. Verbal commitment to LSU. Named to the 2023 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
