2022 PG Underclass All-American Games
Theo Kim is a 2024 SS/2B, MIF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection ahead. Switch-hitter at the plate, has better present bat speed from the right side, comfortable set up with a lifting swing, gets out front well, hands stay tight and short to the ball, solid game contact. Left handed swing is a bit longer with a big barrel tilt and some drift into contact, turns the barrel over for pull side contact. Primary middle infielder on defense, has athletic lower half actions and moves well side to side, gets the glove down early, quick exchange into his release. Projectable young infielder with some skills. Very good student, verbal commitment to UC Irvine. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
